While I love to review food, I love to monitor food prices. Given how inflated food costs are, I still enjoy the happiness of eating. Besides writing for Cafehopping, I do blog about fun places to head to @SGDIRECTORY.

TWG Lunch Menu (Black Cod with Asian Gremolata)

If you’re looking for a culinary adventure, you can try this dish.
This is the type of dish that makes you feel like you’ve stepped into an alternate reality—like the kind where your taste buds have been transported to another time and place. This is also the kind of dish that keeps you coming back for more.
This restaurant has thought of everything, from the gremolata on top of the fish to the way they’ve cooked it in a way that makes it melt in your mouth. They’ve even thought about how to pair it with other foods:wilted baby spinach, a ginger butter emulsion with gyokuro samurai tea leaves and crushed potatoes with chilli oil
This dish is a delight for the senses. The pan-seared black cod fish is soft and flaky, with a crisp skin that gives way to the meat of the fish. It’s served with asian gremolata, which adds a nice pop of flavor to the dish. The combination of ingredients works together beautifully, and each bite has a different taste from the last. It’s really exciting to eat.
This is definitely worth your money! You won’t be disappointed!
TWG Lunch Menu (Genmaicha Mushroom Linguine)

I’m a big fan of mushrooms, but when I heard about a pasta dish with mushrooms, I was a little bit wary. I’ve had mushroom-based dishes in the past that have kind of made me feel nauseous. However, when I tried this dish out for myself, I was pleasantly surprised—the mushrooms were cooked just right, and didn’t give off any weird smells or tastes!
The pasta is light and fluffy—not at all chewy or starchy like other brands of linguine. The sauce was light and creamy, with hints of garlic and creaminess. It tasted great on its own as well as with the pasta and toppings. The wilted spinach added an extra layer of texture to the dish while also adding an earthy flavor. The roasted asparagus was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside; it went well with the rest of the ingredients in this dish.
The soft-cooked egg was perfectly cooked: you could tell it had been cooked through just enough so that it wasn’t raw but still had a nice runny yolk when you cut into it (which is how I prefer my eggs).
The genmaicha furikake added a nice crunchy texture to each bite of food—it paired well with all of the other ingredients!
TWG Lunch Menu (Wagyu Burger)

This is a burger that will change your life.
It’s a Wagyu beef burger served on an artisanal bun with lettuce, tomato, and comté cheese. Accompanied by truffled matcha matchstick potatoes.
The meat is tender and juicy, and it holds up well even when you don’t bite into it right away—which I’m sure you will do with every ounce of your being when you see it on the plate! The bun is soft and just the right size for the burger without being too big or too small. The lettuce and tomato provide a crunchy contrast to the soft buns and meat. The cheese adds a salty kick to everything else going on in your mouth at that moment in time. And then there are those truffled matcha matchstick potatoes… they’re just magical. They’re so crispy yet chewy at the same time! It’s like having sweet potato fries with a hint of green tea powder sprinkled over them for added flavor.
The flavors all blend together seamlessly into something truly unforgettable—something you’ll want to eat again and again!
TWG Lunch Menu (Roasted Barramundi with Red Curry)

If you’re looking for an exotic, flavorful dish that will transport you to a tropical island, look no further than the roasted barramundi with red curry. This was a delicious meal.
The flavors in this dish are incredible—the sweetness of the coconut milk combined with the heat from the curry makes for a complex blend of tastes that dances on your tongue. The fish itself is tender and flaky, and it goes perfectly with all of the other ingredients in this dish.
The vegetables were cooked well, and the tomatoes were very flavorful. The potatoes were hearty and comforting—and I really appreciated that they were steamed instead of fried. I enjoyed the deep-fried leaves as an alternative to breadcrumbs; they provided a crunchy texture while still tasting like vegetables.
The mistral tea flavor wasn’t too strong, but it was definitely present in every bite of curry. The coconut milk complemented it nicely and gave a delicate sweetness to each spoonful of rice I ate with my fork. This dish is a must-try for anyone who loves a hearty, healthy meal.
TWG Lunch Menu (Beef Lasagna)

The beef lasagna was an interesting dish. The pasta was baked to perfection, and the ragout was hearty and flavorful. The bechamel sauce and emmental cheese worked well with the ragout, and the houkoi infused cheese chips were a nice touch.
The fresh tangy tomato coulis complemented the dish well. It had a good balance of sweet and sour flavors that helped cut through some of the heavier elements of this dish.
The basil pesto added another dimension to this dish, bringing in some more herbaceous notes that balanced out the heaviness of this meal. The pesto was made from scratch, so I could tell it was fresh!
Overall, I would recommend this meal for anyone who wants to try something new or just wants something comforting on a cold day like today!
