While I love to review food, I love to monitor food prices. Given how inflated food costs are, I still enjoy the happiness of eating. Besides writing for Cafehopping, I do blog about fun places to head to @SGDIRECTORY.
If you’ve ever been to Singapore, you know that the cuisine is a work of art. And we’re not just talking about the way they use food as a blank canvas for their creative juices—we’re talking about the way they serve it.
At So Pho Singapore, there’s no debate: you get to eat with your hands. Each dish is served on a small plate and wrapped in a piece of lettuce with rice noodles, herbs, and other ingredients inside—and then you wrap it up and eat it! It’s so much fun to share this experience with friends and family because everyone gets their own little bundle of deliciousness to enjoy.
The best part? It’s all good for you! Each dish includes lots of veggies that are fresh from local farms around Singapore, as well as lean protein options like chicken breast or tofu if you’re looking for something lighter. Plus, there are tons of vegetarian options that’ll make everyone happy—even the pickiest eaters at your table will find something they love!

So Pho Best Seller Menu
So Pho’s Best Seller Menu is a collection of their most popular dishes, handpicked by So Pho’s tastemakers for you to enjoy. It includes all the best-loved dishes from their menu, as well as some new ones to try!
We’re confident that if you try any of these dishes, you’ll be coming back for more—and soon.
So Pho Noodle Soup

I love pho noodle soup. It’s one of my favorite foods. I think it’s the perfect combination of flavors and textures: the slippery noodles, crisp bean sprouts, and delicate herbs with the savory broth that warms your belly. The only problem is that it’s not always easy to find a perfect bowl of pho noodle soup in public places.
So when I saw So Pho Singapore pop up on my social media feed as one of their customers, I decided it was time for me to give them a try! And boy am I glad I did: they have some seriously delicious pho noodles on offer!
The broth itself is warm and comforting—not too salty or oily—and it comes with fresh herbs that give it a fresh flavor. The noodles are cooked to perfection—soft but not mushy—and the meat is tender enough to cut easily with your chopsticks but still has enough chewiness to remind you that you’re eating real food instead of just drinking broth. The vegetables are crisp and crunchy without being too heavy on their own (which they’d be if they were overcooked).
So Pho Summer Rolls with Prawns, Grilled Chicken & Chicken Ham

I can’t say I’ve ever had a summer roll before, but I have to admit, I’m a fan. The So Pho Vietnamese Restaurant has got the perfect combination of fresh and savory flavors of —and it’s not too heavy, either.
I tried the summer roll with prawns, grilled chicken and chicken ham, and it was delicious. The shrimp were cooked perfectly, with a bit of crunch on the outside but still moist on the inside. The chicken ham was tender and flavorful without being too salty or sweet. And the lettuce was fresh and crisp—it felt like every bite had a little freshness in each bite!
The sauce that came with my meal was also delicious: not too thick, not too thin—just right! It went perfectly with my summer roll, while also adding some extra flavor to my entrée: rice noodles with chicken breast meatballs (which were also awesome).
Overall? This is one of the greatest foods I have ever tried without feeling like you’re overdoing it on calories or fat grams!
So Pho Noodle Soup with Sliced Beef with Beef Ball,Tendon & Brisket

This dish is a new item for me and I haven’t tried it, so I was skeptical if it would be good, so when I tried it I was amazed. The broth is so rich and savory, and the noodles are perfectly cooked—not too soft, not too hard. The beef balls were delicious and juicy, and the tendon was decadent and tender. And don’t even get me started on the brisket! It had just enough chewiness but still melted in your mouth like butter!
All of this would have been enough to make me happy, but what really made this dish stand out was its spice level: the perfect amount of kick to wake up your taste buds without overpowering everything else on your plate or making them cry for mercy (like some other places I’ve been).
I highly recommend trying So Pho Noodle Soup with Sliced Beef with Beef Ball, Tendon & Brisket if you’re looking for something new or just want something different from your usual order at another restaurant!
So Pho Grilled Lemongrass Chicken with Rice

When you think of Vietnamese food, you probably imagine a bowl of pho with the works: noodles, herbs, and thinly sliced beef. But So Pho’s Grilled Lemongrass Chicken with Rice is a must-try for anyone who loves Vietnamese food but doesn’t want to eat pho every day.
So Pho’s Grilled Lemongrass Chicken with Rice is a traditional Vietnamese dish that will make your taste buds sing. The chicken has a perfect balance of flavor and texture, and the lemongrass makes it really easy to eat in one bite. The rice is cooked just right so that it has a little crunch on top but is soft at the core. The dish comes with a side of pickled carrots, which adds another layer of flavor to the dish and makes it feel like more than just chicken and rice—it feels like a feast!
If you’re looking for something light but still delicious, look no further than So Pho’s Grilled Lemongrass Chicken with Rice!
So Pho Bún Noodle with Grilled Beef & Fried Spring Rolls

The Bun Noodle with Grilled Beef & Fried Spring Rolls was delicious and filling. The grilled beef had a nice char on it, and was tender enough to cut easily with a fork. The spring rolls were crispy on the outside and soft in the middle, with a nicely seasoned filling of rice noodles and vegetables including onions, peppers, carrots and bean sprouts.
The broth was flavorful without being overpowering or salty, which is not always easy to do with pho. The soup came with a plate of bean sprouts, cilantro leaves, lime wedges and jalapeño slices to add at your discretion if desired; these added another layer of flavor to this dish that made it even more delicious!
