Covid19 forces me to stay home and order food from various food apps. It became so boring while eating the same thing over and over! Now, it is my revenge time! I am to head out to various eateries in Singapore – restaurants, cafes, bubble teas, hawker food stores… At Cafe Hopping, I blog about the menus of places to eat and drink in Singapore.
I know what you’re thinking: What do I need a Malaysian restaurant in my life for? Well, I’m here to tell you that Papparich Singapore Menu is a menu where you can go to try new things without feeling like you’re being forced out of your comfort zone.
At PappaRich, they believe that the best way to explore a new cuisine is by immersing yourself headfirst into its culture. And what better way to do that than through food?
They don’t want you to just eat their food—they want you to feel like part of Malaysia itself!

Imagine a land of steamy, tropical forests, exotic wildlife and delicious food. Now imagine that you’re in Singapore, the bustling city-state that’s home to this delicious cuisine.
The best part? It’s not just about the food. At Papparich , you can get your fill of authentic Malaysian dishes.
Will introduce some of their favorite dishes from this flavorful restaurant:
Papparich Nasi Lemak with Fried Chicken

The first thing I want to say is that this is not your typical nasi lemak. The rice and the sambal are delicious, but they are not the stars of this show. The chicken is what you need to focus on. It’s got a crispy coating that’s not too thick or heavy, and it’s moist inside. You can tell it’s been cooked well because you don’t have to fight with your teeth to get through it.

The sambal is also a great accompaniment for this meal—it’s spicy but not overpowering, which means you can enjoy it without having to reach for water every five minutes. It’s got just enough spice to give your taste buds a little kick without overwhelming them.
Papparich Nasi Lemak with Curry Chicken

I’ve been a huge fan of nasi lemak since I was a kid. It’s usually served with a delicious, rich coconut rice and lots of side dishes—usually fried chicken, hard-boiled eggs, and sambal.
The Papparich version is no different. But if you’re looking for something new… well, here it is: curry chicken!

When I first saw this on the menu, I had to try it right away. Curry chicken is one of my favorite dishes—it’s so simple but so flavorful. And as soon as I bit into the Papparich version, I knew that this would be my new favorite nasi lemak place. The curry was thick and rich, with just enough spice to make your lips tingle in just the right way. The chicken was tender and juicy, and the coconut rice was cooked perfectly—not too dry or too wet.
If you want an authentic taste of Malaysia without having to fly there yourself (or if you just miss the food from home), then this is definitely worth trying out!
Papparich Penang Char Kway Teow

In Penang, the “char kway teow” is a traditional Malaysian dish made of flat rice noodles fried in dark soy sauce, lard and belacan. It is served with bean sprouts, seared pork and cockles.
The char kway teow at Papparich is one of the best I’ve ever had. The noodles are perfectly fried and crunchy, but not too oily or greasy. The prawns and fish cake were fresh and tasted great when dipped in the sweet soy sauce that comes with it.

I also love how they serve their drinks here: you can customize your drink by choosing from a variety of mixers and juices! You can even choose from a wide selection of teas if coffee isn’t your thing!
This place makes for a great date spot or just to catch up with some friends over good food and drinks!
