While I love to review food, I love to monitor food prices. Given how inflated food costs are, I still enjoy the happiness of eating. Besides writing for Cafehopping, I do blog about fun places to head to @SGDIRECTORY.

Hong Kong Street Family Restaurant Singapore Popular Menu 2023
Hong Kong Street family restaurant menu for 2023 is the best menu for family fun and food. There are many restaurants in Singapore, but what makes street family restaurants exciting and unique is the quality food, affordable price and unique environment. Here is the menu you should look forward for 2023:
Coffee Pork Ribs

I ordered the coffee ribs because I love meat and I like coffee, so I figured it would be a great combination. But the way they prepared it was even better than I expected. The meat was tender and juicy, and it tasted like roasted pork with just a hint of coffee flavor. The sauce complemented the taste perfectly—it was sweet but not too sweet. There wasn’t too much sauce on top of the ribs, so you didn’t feel like you were eating something swimming in a pool of liquid. It was just enough to enhance the flavor without overpowering it.
I’d definitely recommend these ribs to anyone who likes pork or wants to try something new!
Shark’s Fin Soup with Crab Meat & Dried Scallop

I’m obsessed with this soup. While it’s a bit on the expensive side, it’s worth every penny. The broth is creamy and rich, but not heavy at all. I love how many different textures there are: the softness of the noodles, the crunchiness of the bamboo shoots, and the tenderness of the crab meat and dried scallop!
And while this may seem like a novelty food, it’s actually really healthy for you! Shark’s fin soup is high in protein and calcium and low in fat—great for those watching their weight or trying to get into shape!
The only downside is that it takes some time to make; you have to boil up some shark’s fin before making your soup. But trust me: if you’re looking for an amazing meal that will impress everyone at any occasion, look no further than this dish!
Steam Cod Fish Hong Kong Style

Steam Cod Fish Hong Kong Style is one of the best fish dishes I’ve ever tasted. It’s light, flaky, and has a delicate flavor that isn’t too overpowering. This dish goes perfectly with rice or any number of side dishes, but I recommend pairing it with some plain white rice and a side of sauteed vegetables.
The fish is fresh and tender, making it easy to eat with chopsticks or even just your hands. Make sure to pick up some extra soy sauce or chili paste at the grocery store—you’ll want to dip this dish in something!
Hong Kong Street Family Restaurant Best Seller Menu
The restaurant serves authentic Chinese food and has become a favorite among locals and tourists alike for its delicious food and friendly service.
The restaurant’s best seller menu includes:
Hong Kong Street Family Restaurant Prawn Paste Chicken

Prawn Paste Chicken is a traditional Malaysian dish. It’s a combination of prawn paste, chicken, and spices, and it’s light and flavorful.
I was not expecting this to be as good as it was. I’m a huge fan of prawn paste chicken, and this is the first time I’ve tried it with rice.
It’s hard to describe how delicious this meal is. The flavor is so complex—it’s spicy, sweet, salty, and savory all at once. You can taste each individual ingredient in every bite, but they also blend together so well that you don’t notice them individually as much as you notice their combined effect on your tastebuds. The smell of this dish is not for the faint of heart—it’s pungent! But once you get past that, it’s actually really good. The texture is soft but not mushy, so it holds up well to being eaten with chopsticks. The flavor is mildly spicy, but there are also hints of sweetness from the sauce.
This meal is something that could easily be served at a fancy restaurant or at home with friends—it’s that good. I’d recommend this dish if you’re looking for something different than your average Chinese takeout or Thai food delivery order: it may take some getting used to if you’re not used to eating prawn paste or anything spicy (like me), but once you get over that initial hurdle, it’s totally worth a try!
Hong Kong Street Family Restaurant Cereal Prawn

Cereal Prawn is a delicious new cereal that combines the best of two worlds: prawns and breakfast cereal.
I was so excited to try this cereal, because I love prawns and I love cereal. I was hoping that it would be like a prawn-flavored Cheerio or something, but it wasn’t. It was more like a Munchkin with a little bit of powder sprinkled on top. The taste is really good! It’s sweet and salty and kind of spicy, like sriracha sauce. I think the best part about this cereal is that it makes you feel like you’re eating seafood without actually having to eat seafood.
The prawns are crispy and crunchy, with a satisfying salty taste that makes you want to keep eating them. The cereal also has a sweet flavor that compliments the saltiness of the prawns perfectly.Cereal Prawns is basically just prawns with cereal on top of them. It sounds weird, but it’s so good! And they have just enough pepper on them that they’re not too spicy. The cereal adds more crunchiness and sweetness that complements the prawns perfectly.
Hong Kong Street Family Restaurant Sliced Fish Bee Hoon Soup

The sliced fish bee hoon soup is a delicately flavored dish with a strong, simple flavor profile and the perfect balance of texture. The broth is flavorful but light, and it’s filled with silky rice noodles that soak up the broth as you eat them.
The sliced fish is fresh and tender—you can tell it was cut from a whole fish that was caught that morning. It adds an element of crunchiness to your meal, which contrasts well with the softness of the noodles and broth. The broth itself is light and flavorful—not too salty or overpowering—and you can really taste the freshness of the veggies and fish throughout each bite.
This dish is a must-try if you are in the mood for a hearty and wholesome meal. I’d recommend this dish to anyone looking for something a little different from the usual noodles or rice dishes.
Hong Kong Street Family Restaurant Hotplate Beancurd

The hotplate beancurd dish was a bit of a gamble. It’s not something I would normally order, but my friends convinced me to give it a shot
When my hotplate beancurd arrived, I was surprised at how simple it looked: just a white dish with some veggies on top. But as soon as I took a bite… oh my god! The tofu was crispy on the outside and soft inside; the veggies were crunchy but still retained their flavor. It was so good that I actually started laughing out loud when I realized that this dish wasn’t just “good” or “okay”—it was amazing!
The sauce tasted like heaven: sweet but not too sweet, salty but not too salty; thick enough that it coated your tongue when you ate it but thin enough that you could still taste the delicate flavor of beancurd underneath it all—a flavor so subtle yet powerful at once (like most things)
All in all, this dish was delicious—not something I would have thought to order myself but now that I’ve tried it… I don’t think I can’t go back!
