The Hainanese Coffeehouse was a quiet place, where the smell of kaya toast and coffee wafted through the air. It was a simple place, but one that offered something truly special: a taste of home, or at least the closest thing to it.
But times change, and so do people. The original Hainanese Coffee House has been rebranded as Fun Toast Singapore, but it still offers all the deliciousness that you could ever want from a cafe.

That’s what happened to me when I first tried this Kaya Butter Toast Set. I felt like a kid in a candy store when I saw it—I couldn’t wait to get my hands on some!
The Kaya Butter Toast Set is a must-have for any breakfast lover. It comes complete with two pieces of super buttery toast and a cute little jar of kaya jam, all packaged up in a pretty box. The toast is amazing—it’s soft, but not soggy; it’s crispy, but not too crunchy; and it’s just the right size for your morning meal. And then there are the jams! If you’re looking for a coffee that will give you the energy to go on an adventure, look no further.
I was surprised by how much I enjoyed this coffee. I’m not typically a fan of flavored coffees, but the Fun Toast Singapore Coffee is so delicious and smooth. The flavor is bold and nutty, with just a hint of sweetness, but it’s also full-bodied enough to feel like more than just a gimmick.
The large size is great if you’re having company over or want to share with a friend, and the price point is perfect for anyone who wants a high-quality cup of coffee without spending too much money on it!
Fun Toast Chee Cheong Fun & 2pcs Siew Mai
Chee Cheong Fun is a noodle dish that comes from China. It’s usually served with a sweet sauce and shrimp or fish cakes, but today I decided to try it with 2 pieces of Siew Mai (which are steamed pork dumplings).
I love the way this dish looks when it’s served—it comes out looking like a little colorful rainbow! The noodles are very thin, so they don’t require any chewing; they just glide right down your throat as soon as they hit your tongue. They’re also coated in a thick sauce that adds just enough sweetness without being too overpowering. And even though there aren’t any veggies in this dish, it still manages to feel healthy because it’s light and fresh-tasting instead of heavy or greasy like some other dishes can be.
The Siew Mai were another winner—they had just enough seasoning on them that you could taste the pork inside without being overwhelmed by saltiness or MSG flavorings (which I think is important when you’re eating food from another culture).
